During the ice age the area was covered by glaciers, but now it offers gentle slopes of cropland, native grass, and hardwood timber, dotted with quiet peaceful ponds.
The Nickels have spent 20 years developing their native Kansas land for prime quail hunting. They manage individual tracts of land with windbreaks, hedges and fence rows that create the perfect habitat for wild quail.
Nickels Farms is the perfect getaway, but we're not far away - we're just minutes from Kansas City and the Kansas Interstate system and a 45 minute drive from Kansas City International Airport.

| Full day packages are available for wild quail hunting from the second week in November into January 31. We specialize in packages for corporate trips and business travelers. Meeting facilities are available for groups. |

Monday through Friday - $295 / person
Saturday - $335 / person
Rates based on two–party minimum and include one night's lodging (double occupancy – the night before or following the hunt), morning meal, and a field lunch. |
